I am, therefore I think.

My first blog post, but not my first public comment.  You'll have to go back way to Usenet groups to find what I've had to say. 
Not sure how much I'll have to say that I'll post here...at this moment I think it more likely that the bulk of my writing will be comments elsewhere, but who knows...  What will it be about?  Religion, pragmatism, ethics, and politics for now.  Why?  Because I think those topics categorize most of the contentious issues in our society today.  I'm willing to wager a small amount that very few who will find their way to my words will believe there's nothing needing "fixing" in our society.  Agreement on what the problems and solutions are is another matter....
